The route covers the full eastern arc of the Gulf of Poets, beginning with Lerici — the medieval village watched over by the Castle of San Giorgio — and continuing south along the coast to the small hidden villages of Fiascherino and Tellaro, two of the most quietly beautiful communities in Liguria and best appreciated from the sea. The tour then heads towards the UNESCO-listed archipelago of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto, three spectacular islands of different sizes and entirely unspoiled by development.

Portovenere, Byron's Cave and Swimming Stops Along the Way

The final destination is Portovenere, where the Nimbus anchors in front of the Church of San Pietro, built in the 13th century and positioned dramatically at the tip of the medieval promontory above the small cove known as Byron's Cave. Throughout the 4 hours, multiple stops for swimming and snorkelling are scheduled in the most beautiful coves of the gulf — the Nimbus W9's manoeuvrability and modest draft allow it to reach sheltered anchorages that larger vessels cannot access.

Itineraries are subject to weather and sea conditions. The skipper may modify the route at any time to ensure the safety of all guests. Punctuality at boarding and disembarkation is required: delays will incur a charge of €120 per hour. In case of unjustified delay, the captain reserves the right to depart without the late guests.

Not every day on the Ligurian coast needs to be a full-day commitment. The afternoon slot (2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.) catches the warmer water and the better swimming conditions, and closes as the light begins to turn golden over the western shore — a natural bridge to an evening in Portovenere or Lerici, if guests choose to stay ashore after disembarkation.

Lerici, Fiascherino and Tellaro: The Eastern Shore Up Close

Departing from La Spezia, Lerici or Portovenere — the Nimbus W9 operates from all three ports, a flexibility that eliminates the need to travel to a single fixed marina — the boat moves along the eastern shore of the gulf towards Lerici. If poor marine weather conditions prevent rhe regular running of the tours, it can be scheduled at a later date, alternatively the full amount paid will be refund
For cancellation by the customer
For cancellations up to 60 days before departure, no cancellation fee is required
From 59 to 30 days before departure cancellation fee will be 30%
From 29 to 15 days before departure cancellation fee will be 50%
For cancellation within 14 days before departure, there is no refund
