If poor marine weather conditions prevent rhe regular running of the tours, it can be scheduled at a later date, alternatively the full amount paid will be refund

For cancellations up to 60 days before departure, no cancellation fee is required
From 59 to 30 days before departure cancellation fee will be 30%
From 29 to 15 days before departure cancellation fee will be 50%
For cancellation within 14 days before departure, there is no refund
In case of NON SHOW there is no refund
For cancellation by organizer the full amount paid will be refund

The Gulf of Poets, the Cinque Terre and the route to Portofino are the same coastline regardless of which vessel you are on. What changes is the experience on board — the scale of the group, the level of service included, the proximity to the shore, the pace of the day. For Small Groups and Couples: Intimacy and Flexibility
The smaller vessels in the fleet — the Mimi Libeccio range, the Nimbus Weekender W9 and the Fairline 39 Targa — carry between 6 and 8 guests and offer the most flexible and intimate approach to the coast. These boats reach coves and anchorages that larger vessels pass at a distance, and the dynamic on board is closer to a private day with friends than an organised excursion. The Nimbus W9 and the Mimi Libeccio range depart from La Spezia, Lerici or Portovenere — three ports, maximum flexibility for guests based anywhere along the Gulf of Poets. For couples, the Romantic Dinner Cruise format is available on select vessels: a private floating restaurant for two, with a 3-course fresh fish dinner served moored in front of Portovenere.

Groups of 8 to 12 have access to the widest range of vessels in the fleet — from agile open boats to fully equipped motor yachts with flybridge, sundeck and on-board hostess. The Maiora 20 Fly (12 guests, 20 metres, refitted 2024, Porto Mirabello La Spezia) represents the highest service standard in this segment: hostess included as standard, aperitif, snacks, soft drinks and towels on board, panoramic flybridge and a programme that extends as far as Portofino. The Mochi Craft 46 Fly (10 guests, departing from Viareggio) is the only full-day Gulf of Poets and Cinque Terre tour that boards directly in Versilia — the natural choice for guests based in Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta or anywhere along the Apuan coast.
For Larger Groups: The Goletta and the Classic Sailing Experience
For groups of up to 23, the Goletta Kimera is the most distinctive vessel in the fleet: a 26-metre traditional mahogany schooner departing from Le Grazie di Portovenere, already inside the Gulf of Poets at boarding. The Goletta is one of the few vessels on this coast with the official Cinque Terre Park Authority authorisation to enter the Marine Protected Area — meaning the full inshore experience of the five villages and the option to land in Vernazza are available on this boat. The mahogany saloon, the large dining table and the classic lines of the hull make the Goletta a genuinely different proposition from the motor yachts: a day on a traditional sailing vessel, in one of the most celebrated sailing territories in the Mediterranean.

Are all boats available as fully private charters?
Yes — with the exception of the shared sailing boat tour on the Gulf of Poets, every vessel in the Viaggi di Mare fleet is available exclusively as a private charter. No other passengers are ever on board. The boat, the crew and the itinerary are yours for the full duration of the tour.
Which boats depart from Viareggio or the Versilia coast?
The Mochi Craft 46 Fly departs exclusively from Viareggio and is the only full-day private boat tour in the programme that boards in Versilia. Guests staying in Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta and the Apuan coast can reach the marina in under 20 minutes, with no transfer to La Spezia required.
Which boats can enter the Cinque Terre Marine Protected Area?
The Goletta Kimera and the Nimbus Weekender W9 both hold the official Cinque Terre Park Authority authorisation for inshore sailing and landing in Vernazza. All other vessels sail outside the Marine Protected Area at the permitted offshore distance, offering a panoramic view of all five villages from open water.
What is the maximum and minimum group size across the fleet?
The smallest format in the programme is the Romantic Dinner Cruise, available for 2 guests only. The largest vessel is the Goletta Kimera, which accommodates up to 23 guests on deck.
