Two Sundecks, One Continuous Outdoor Space

The Fairline’s layout is defined by two distinct outdoor spaces that together cover the full length of the boat:

  • Large bow sundeck — wide and flat, designed for sunbathing across the full arc of the day, with easy access from the foredeck
  • Stern cockpit with convertible sundeck table — a comfortable social space at the back of the boat that converts into a second full sundeck when the table is folded, giving the group an alternative outdoor area close to the water

The two spaces mean that 8 guests can spread out naturally across the boat without crowding, and the transition between swimming, sunbathing and relaxing at the cockpit table is seamless throughout the day. Twin Volvo Penta 231 hp engines make transfers between stops efficient without sacrificing the time spent at anchor.

All Fairline 39 Targa tours depart from Porto Mirabello, La Spezia. Five itineraries are available, covering everything from a 3-hour evening aperitif to the full Portofino day:

  • Sunset Aperitif (3 hours, up to 8 guests) — an evening cruise to Portovenere and the Palmaria archipelago with Byron’s Grotto, a swimming stop and aperitif served on board at golden hour.
  • Half Day Gulf of Poets (4 hours, up to 8 guests) — morning or afternoon slot covering Lerici with the Castle of San Giorgio, Fiascherino, Tellaro, the UNESCO islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto, and Portovenere with the Church of San Pietro.
  • Gulf of Poets (7 hours, up to 8 guests) — the complete full-day itinerary with local aperitif and wine included on board, and optional shore landing on Palmaria Island for a traditional Ligurian lunch or in Portovenere for a village walk.

It accommodates 8 guests and departs from Porto Mirabello, La Spezia — the same port as the Maiora, with a more compact and accessible format for mid-sized groups.

Does the Fairline 39 Targa have authorisation to enter the Cinque Terre Marine Park?

No. The Fairline 39 Targa does not hold the Cinque Terre Park Authority inshore authorisation and sails at the permitted distance of approximately 2 miles from the coast. Is the local aperitif and wine included in all Fairline tours?

The local Ligurian aperitif with wine is included as standard in the full-day Gulf of Poets tour. The Sunset Aperitif includes its own on-board aperitif as part of the experience. If poor marine weather conditions prevent rhe regular running of the tours, it can be scheduled at a later date, alternatively the full amount paid will be refund
For cancellation by the customer
For cancellations up to 60 days before departure, no cancellation fee is required
From 59 to 30 days before departure cancellation fee will be 30%
From 29 to 15 days before departure cancellation fee will be 50%
For cancellation within 14 days before departure, there is no refund
