Trekking di Levanto
Overview
The circular route is approximately 11 km long, with a total difference in altitude of approximately 500 meters but without excessive steepness and evenly distributed, therefore it is suitable for everyone, even families with children. Starting from the seafront in the direction of the castle, we will then climb towards the woods and leave the town behind, immersing ourselves in a pleasant and easy path, where below us the sea peeks out between maritime pines and brooms. We are already in spring, the lush and wild vegetation will give us intense scents of the scrub and flowers of every color. Once you arrive in Punta Mesco it is mandatory to stop to enjoy the spectacular panorama and reach the Hermitage of Sant'Antonio. From here it's still a small effort to climb in the direction of Monte Focone, arrive at Sella di Bagari very easily and head back to Levanto. At the end of our descent, we will find ourselves in front of the Clock Tower which is part of the Medieval Walls and then visit the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea. We will end our day after about 5 hours at the historic Pasticceria Bianchi in the historic center of the town.
