Tuscany Cooking Experiences!
Learn how to cook true traditional Tuscan pasta.

Our fun and creative hands-on class in traditional Apuan homemade pasta will make you a true expert in creating pasta at home, too!
In the charming location of the Azienda Agricola il “Moretto” farm, from our cooking expert Piera, you will learn everything you need to know about fresh homemade pasta.

The first step will be selecting the best ingredients, paying special attention to the use of the correct type of flour, the use of eggs, and the secrets of the trade that Piera will explain to you.
You will knead, roll, and cut fresh pasta such as, for example, noodles and tagliatelle or have fun creating traditional ricotta ravioli with your own hands.

After all the preparation it will be time to taste your creations along with some good Tuscan wine and a nice chat!

In fact, the lesson will culminate with a delicious meal of the dishes you have prepared, together with a board of cold cuts and cheeses crostini and appetizers typical of the Apuan territory, accompanied by the tasting of 3 wines produced directly by Azienda Agricola Il Moretto.

So, get ready for a fun experience in the kitchen!

Now you can also prepare delicious recipes at home and amaze your guests with the typical recipes of the Tuscan culinary tradition.

What to wear for the Fresh Pasta class

For the class, it is important to have your hair tied back and wear closed shoes and comfortable clothing, since you will have to stand while cooking.
After putting on your aprons, under the chef’s expert eye, you will learn everything you need to know about homemade fresh pasta.

Marble Quarries Carrara Private Tour by Minivan Mercedes V class

Be amazed by this exciting tour to discover the Carrara Marble quarries.

We will set off in an elegant Mercedes V class Minivan towards the quarries of Carrara and crossing the road that winds like a snake up to the top of the mountain, we will cross the famous Ponti di Vara that together with the evocative tunnels carved into the rock constituted the ‘former Ferrovia Marmifera.

We will head straight into the heart of the marble basins to visit the “Ravaccione Gallery” closed quarry, a guided tour of just under an hour in what is called the “Cathedral of Marble” where the extraction techniques, machinery and history of this precious material will be explained.
Here you can admire an imposing reproduction of Michelangelo’s “CREATION OF ADAM” towers imposingly with its 160 SQM in the center of our gallery.
It was made by international artist Ozmo.

As an alternative to the closed quarry, you can decide to visit the active outdoor quarries with a 50-minute Jeep tour.

You will have the opportunity to discover this magical place where Michelangelo found the block that gave birth to the world-famous Pietà.
It will be possible to take a walk through the open-air “Marble Museum.”

A walk through the streets of the village of Colonnata is planned for a tasting of the famous Lardo di Colonnata.

The Buonamico Estate is set southwest of Montecarlo, in the Cercatoja area, and it covers a surface of 100 hectares; 48 of them are dedicated to specialized vineyards.
The winery was founded by renowned restaurateurs from Turin in the early 1960s, with the purpose of furnishing their restaurant with Montecarlo wines.
Today the Estate, owned by the Fontana Family, has expanded in terms of both vineyards and wine cellar.
While preserving the essential characteristics of a traditional winemaking style, “Buonamico” has now become one of the Montecarlo’s leading wine producers.

Upon arrival at the winery a welcome drink will be served, followed by the  Private Tour of the vat cellar, barrique cellar, area of sparkling wine and historic winery.

After the visit the wine and oil tasting will be held in a tasting room accompanied by:

– Chopping board of salami and Tuscan cheeses
– Bread of Altopascio with our Extra Virgin olive oil

S. Rossore Natural Park Bike Tour

S. Rossore Natural Park

We start from Viareggio and along the seafront we reach Torre del Lago Puccini, the pine forest will dominate and the road will be almost entirely dirt and sandy.
Inside the pine forest you will enjoy the shade and scents of the plants and trees, we will silently approach hidden lakes to see herons, wild boars or deer that we often find drinking.

But the excursion continues and to get to the S.Rossore Natural Park we will still find fields and rivers to cross, but with our electric mountain bikes we will never find ourselves in difficulty. Once we arrive at the Natural Park we can rest and refresh ourselves within the structures made available, there is also the possibility of visiting the Park following special bridle paths and in typical horse-drawn carriages. Further opportunities to discover the park are offered by the environmental teaching activity carried out for more than a decade with the collaboration of service cooperatives.

Massaciuccoli lake Bike Tour

From the sea to the lake

A trip dedicated to those who love nature.

It starts from the Versilia Sea and runs along the coast until the eastern pine forest of Viareggio where the first unpaved road begins.
Immersed in the greenery and scent of pine trees we reach the Torre del Lago Puccini on the west coast of Lake Massaciuccoli, where we can visit Giacomo Puccini’s house and the large open-air theatre dedicated to him. We start again following the coast and reach Massaciuccoli and the cycle paths including the “Lotus Flowers”, a splendid road built at times above the lake among the Lotus Flowers until reaching Massarosa.
Once you reach the town of Massaciuccoli you arrive at the LIPU Oasis where it is possible to spot various species of rare and beautiful birds hidden among the huts. With approximately 700 meters of walkway that winds through the reeds and sedge thickets you can admire the dangerous Marsh Harrier, small passerines such as the River Nightingale and the Chestnut Forapaglie or where the Little Bittern, symbol of the Oasis, nests.
The destination is near and finally a bit of well-deserved rest sitting at the table of the restaurant on the east side of the lake will be able to delight our palate with a lunch based on typical Tuscan cold cuts and tordelli.
On the way back it is possible to visit the “Roman Massaciuccoli” archaeological area with the Thermal District and the Mosaic with fantastic animals.

Versilia Bike Tour

Jump into Nature!

Are you prepared to take a real dive into the fresh and crystalline waters of one of the most beautiful rivers in Versilia?
Yes… Then this is the excursion for you!

Let’s take the fantastic E-Bikes made available to you and start pedaling.
We pass the seafront up to the Versiliana pine forest and once immersed in the greenery of the famous scrub we continue towards Pierasanta, one of the most important towns in Versilia famous for the open-air exhibitions of the major international sculptors, for the marble workshops and the most renowned foundries world.

From Pietrasanta we continue towards Seravezza and arrive at the first more challenging climbs.
Let’s remember that we have an electric motor available to help us and let’s start climbing.
You follow the river and arrive at the first waterfalls of crystal clear water. One of the most ambitious places to escape the heat of summer in Versilia.
And for those who have courage to spare, they cannot avoid a dive into the very fresh waters, perhaps slipping on the rocks carved out by the water.
After drying ourselves and warming up from the sun we get on the saddle and cycle towards our starting point, if instead we want to stop and taste the typical local products we can stop in a typical village restaurant, and then get off.

Cinque Terre Pesto Experience

In this laboratory you will have the opportunity to prepare pesto, learning to use a marble mortar and pestle to give life to this fragrant, flavorful and ancient sauce.

The preparation will be accompanied by a narration on the history and traditions that gave rise to pesto, and at the end of the course you will taste the fruits of your labor, with a ligurian focaccia and a glass of white wine Cinque terre.
